People do different things in honour of Remembrance Day... I suggest that you watch the documentary film "War Dance." (I rented it from Rogers Video on the bypass.)
"War Dance" is a respectful portrayal of the stories of children, living in a war zone in Northern Uganda, who have witnessed or experienced violence. The film shows the healing power of music. It follows a group of students who have won the regional champs and are travelling to Uganda's capitol to compete in the national champioships. The story is a sobering one; however, you'll get to watch incredible, creative expression through music and dance, both Traditional and Western. You'll also get to see the short and long term impacts of a school-sponsored music program in a refugee camp.

A unique and original way to look at "peacemaking" as a response to war or as a Remembrance activity. I look forward to viewing it.
